Last year in the Canary Islands it rained 75% less than normal, which provoked conversations around  drought across some of our islands. This situation was and is a direct consequence of climate change. If we do not act, such periods of drought will become more and more frequent, with the lack of water directly affecting our lives.

Fortunately, this winter has given us a break due to abnormal levels of rainfall, allowing our reservoirs to recover, guaranteeing irrigation water for our farmers and livestock breeders.
