Videoreport Canarias entered fully into the production of fiction series by filming The Room, our first self-produced series, which has been broadcasted on different channels and online platforms, such as HBO.

In the series, Yago Costa (Francesc Garrido) is a great police inspector, specialised in interrogations. In the police station where he has worked all his career and for no apparent reason, he commits a murder that sends him to jail for years. In the prison visiting room, Yago is visited by Sara Sibilio (Natalia Rodríguez), a young journalist who carries out several interviews with him to find out what were the motives, until then never revealed, that led him to commit this crime. Through these interviews between the “cop killer” and the journalist we will learn, chapter by chapter in The Room, the different cases that Yago investigated with his partner Luis Corbalán (Raúl Prieto). All this information will reveal not only the reasons why he committed the crime, but also, a great corruption plot will come to light.
